Visit Warsaw’s stylish cafes!
There are many fashionable and delicious cafes and restaurants on the south side of Warsaw Central Station.
Although not well known to tourists, it is an area frequented by Japanese and Polish residents of Warsaw.
Let’s get right to Harie’s recommended cafes!

Etno Cafe Marszałkowska, a cafe where Warsawites gather.
This café is popular among Warsawites for its stylish atmosphere. It is spacious and relaxing.
There are many kinds of drinks and cakes and they are all delicious ^^.
Light meals are also available, although they are a bit more expensive than those in the restaurant.
This chain of cafes originates from the Polish fairy-town of Wroclaw and has several locations in Warsaw.

Coffeedesk Kawiarnia Wilcza 42″, a cafe where you can drink the best coffee.
A café where you can enjoy coffee made with the utmost care. You can choose from a variety of brewing methods, from espresso to drip.
I love the lattes here. It’s creamier and mellower than other cafes ^^.
The restaurant is always crowded due to its popularity. Sometimes there are no seats available, especially on weekends, so make sure you get a seat before you order!

Relax na Wilczej”, a relaxed cafe
As the name suggests, this cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere, and the upstairs seating is especially spacious and highly recommended.
The recommended menu item is Kalita, which means hand-drip coffee. (Probably named after the Japanese coffee maker Kalita^^;) In Poland, where espresso is the mainstream, hand-drip coffee is rather rare.
You can choose from several types of coffee beans. I tried the Kenyan beans and found them to be very mild and easy to drink, so I recommend them.

Lots of cute cakes “La Vanille
A popular cake shop in Warsaw. The cafe space is small, with only about 10 seats, and there are sometimes no seats on weekends.
A wide variety of meringue cakes, cupcakes and tarts popular in Poland.
I usually find meringue cakes a little too sweet for my taste, but the coffee cream meringue cake here was so easy to eat!
You can also buy them at Złote Tarasy, a shopping mall next to Warsaw Central Station. (Cakes are sold only and there is no café space.)
