In this issue, we will introduce you to a store in Warsaw directly operated by Zakłady, a long-established manufacturer of Polish tableware!
There was a wide variety of discounted outlet and B-grade merchandise, as well as unusual items that are not often found elsewhere.
If you like the traditional design of Polish tableware, this is the place for you.
Polish tableware, directly managed by Zakłady @ Warsaw
The store we visited is directly operated by Zakłady Ceramiczne “BOLESŁAWIEC”, a long-established manufacturer of Polish tableware in Warsaw.
The shop mainly deals in outlet items and B-grade items, which can be bought at a discount of around 20% depending on the item.
- A variety of small items such as chopstick rests and spoons
- Good selection of traditional patterns, few colorful patterns
- Many odd products.
It is not in a tourist area, but it is easy to get to as it is right in front of the Rondo ONZ metro station.
From the next chapter, we will show you the Polish tableware we found in this store with many photos.

A full line of Polish Pottery accessories
Small items were laid out just inside the store.
It is good for Polish tableware lovers as well as for those who are looking for a souvenir to take home with them.
The Polish Tableware! Many traditional patterns
Since Zakłady’s directly-managed stores sell many outlet products, many of the designs were traditional patterns.
There were also non-traditional patterns, but the newer the pattern, the more limited the products.
I want a whole set!” or “I want this pattern in this shape! or “I want this pattern, this shape, this pattern, this shape!
The “Peacock Eye” and “Mosquito” patterns, which are representative of Polish tableware, were rather well stocked. However, there were not many cups and mugs.
I think there were quite a few other products available in this pattern.
Personally, I don’t like traditional patterns so much, so I was never tempted to buy it… ^^;
Rare products unique to Zakłady’s directly managed stores
There were many unusual products that could only be found in a directly managed store.
They are powerful when lined up side by side (lol).
It may be convenient to serve soupy dishes together.
There are also plates that look like they could be made into a café meal.
I found a rectangular plate with an Asian-inspired pattern! I have never seen such a pattern. It looks like it has sushi on it.
Cheese lady protects cheese from drying out. Cute, but not so much used in Japan… ^^;
summary
This is a good store for those who like traditional patterns of Polish tableware and are looking for unusual items.
Many prices are around 20% lower than other stores, so you may be able to get Polish tableware at a discount.
Not enough for those who like new designs, I guess. Zakłady’s specialty store, which we previously mentioned, has a better selection of designs.
The merchandise in the store is a mixture of first- and second-class items.
I didn’t notice that big of a difference, though, perhaps because of my generous nature.
If you are concerned, check the sticker label before buying.
I will answer to the best of my knowledge!
